Why should I bother with a wedding video?
Couples often find that their wedding day goes by in a blur. A video is moving record of a once-in-a-lifetime event that lets you relive the special moments at a less than wedding day pace. Video is the only way to record and capture every aspect of your vows, the toasts, and the first kiss of the newly weds.
If you are interested in having a video but concerned about the price, please contact us. We can often work with clients to negotiate and design a budget-conscious package.
Who will be working on my video?
Gretchen Siegchrist, Media Shower's owner, oversees every aspect of production. Gretchen and her office staff are accessible to clients from first inquiry through DVD delivery.
All Media Shower videographers are highly skilled professionals. Gretchen is the lead videographer on most shoots.

I'm worried that a videographer will be too obtrusive…
Media Shower videographers strive to be as unobtrusive as possible. This means appropriate dress; respectful positioning at the ceremony; and courtesy to you and your guests at all times.
In low light situations we occasionally use small on camera lights. The lights are hardly noticeable but greatly improve the quality of video shot in low light.
What kind of equipment does Media Shower use?
We use professional quality three-chip digital video cameras. This means the cameras perform well in low light and always give sharp, clear pictures.
Our High Definition cameras are compatible with all formats.
We also use camera mounted microphones, and a very small wireless microphone during the ceremony to pick up the vows clearly.
Media Shower also uses nonlinear editing software and Apple technology for all video editing and DVD production.
I'm interested in HD, but I don’t have a HD TV yet…
Our goal is to produce a video that you can enjoy now and in the future, and generally we are able to provide clients with an SD DVD now and an HD (or Blu Ray) DVD later.
If you're interested in HD videography, please contact us. Because of the competing HD technologies, we like to take the time to discuss each client's needs personally.
I have a special request…
Gretchen and the Media Shower staff work with clients to design individualized videos. We try to accommodate all requests. If there's something special that you'd like in your video, we'll be happy to discuss it with you.
Does Media Shower offer any packages not listed on this web site?
We are always happy to work with clients to try to design packages that fit their budget. Please call us to discuss this in more detail.
Can you interview my guests?
We're happy to do this, for no extra charge. Just let us know!
Can I choose the music for my video?
We're happy to use whatever music you’d like in your video. Please discuss your selections with us ahead of time, as we may need you to provide the songs on a CD before the wedding.
How soon will I get my video?
Videos are generally ready 6-10 weeks after your wedding. If you can't wait that long, we do offer expedited editing service for a fee.
Does Media Shower also do photography?
Media Shower is committed to producing elegant, customized videos and providing attentive customer service. Therefore, we focus solely on the craft of video production and editing.
Over the years we've worked with a number of talented photographers, and we're happy to provide suggestions and recommendations.
We can also talk to you about the possibility of turning video stills into high-quality digital images.
